"The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things: Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax— Of cabbages—and kings— And why the sea is boiling hot— And whether pigs have wings."

Hugger Mugger
I read the novel Hugger Mugger by Robert B Parker. This is my first novel by this famous crime fiction author. I loved the book through and through. The lead character Spenser comes out fine. The one liners mouthed by him is simply marvellous. I am resolving to read lot more by Robert B Parker.
31st Chennai Book Fair
I visited Chennai Book Fair on 12th January with my wife Jeya and son Nikhil. I have been visiting the fair for the last 15 years. It has progressed by leaps and bounds. This time, there were more than 500 stalls, virtually impossible for anyone to do justice at one go. I guess one got to visit the fair daily - if only one had time at one's disposal ! We purchased Tamil books by eminent writers Akilan, Kalki, Na Parthasarathy. I picked science fiction book The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula Leguin.
